RAILWAY EXTENSION 2012

Excavation work has nearly finished on site. The extension of the existing circuit has been completed. Further work will continue on the extension throughout the year as a whole array of point work and crossings will be added, but in the mean time trains will travel on the new extension. Thankfully to modern lazer levelling the track has been laid practically level. We have used transitional curves throughout the line, with only one straight section to be platformed for the new station in 2013

A suggestion for 2012;-
Have a Special Railway Gala Day in 2012(even 2 a year eg at start & end of your/the holiday season) for visiting locos (both steam & diesel) with people bringing and using their own locos. when people could bring & use their own steam & diesel locos
